The Gallatin Valley Farmers’ Market began in 1971. Career Transitions, Inc., a private non-profit community based organization, has been managing the market since 1996. At that time a group of volunteers who had managed the market since its inception requested that a non-profit group take over the market administration. The fees paid by the vendors go directly to providing literacy and training services for the Gallatin Valley community and surrounding area.
